  6. Following is a list of commands that you can use for newsfix:

  8. +AREANAME         Connect an area. The plus sign is optional.
  9.                   Examples: +alt.bbs.watergate
  10.                             alt.bbs.watergate

  12. -AREANAME         Disconnect this area. You can also use !
  13.                   instead of the minus sign.
  14.                   Examples: -alt.bbs.watergate
  15.                             !alt.bbs.watergate
  16.  
  17. %-ALL             Disconnect all currently connected areas
  18. %+ALL             Connect all allowed areas
  19.  
  20. %LIST             List all connected areas
  21. %QUERY            List all areas allowed to connect
  22.  
  23. %COMPRESS         Set compression to none, compress or gzip
  24.                   Example: %COMPRESS NONE
  25.  
  26. %CUNBATCH         Enable/disable adding of cunbatch header
  27.                   Example: %CUNBATCH OFF
  28.  
  29. %PASSWORD         Changes your newsfix password
  30.                   Example: %PASSWORD verysecret
